Obviously Spoke aint there. But it seems everyone else is, so I thought we’d drop our stolen picks from the Sea Otter coverage so far.
Race Face make some new offerings for 2010 and offer up XC racers a bit of colour choice. The SIX all carbon all-mountain crank looks awesome. Might see if we can track one down for a test…
This shot (stolen from bikemag.com) shows ODI’s new Wing Tips bar extenders, attached to a new ODI Flight Control bar which is in turn attached to an ODI stem!!! The Wing Tips come in a either 1/2 an inch or 3/4 of an inch.
This shot (stolen from singletrack.com) shows a one-off Cannondale Flash (dubbed the Frankenbike) running Cannondale Hollowgram cranks, with XX chain rings and electronic Shimano Dura Ace Di2! It’s the same in the back too. The bike is painted by Troy Lee and features more crazy bits and pieces. Check the full gallery here. There’s also some sneaky spy shots of the 2011 Scalpel in there!

SRAM is utilising Sea Otter something chronic, releasing a slew of new stuff. Yesterday saw the release of the new Taperbore Codes, hopefully we will have a bit more info soon…
Oh the Fabled new IBIS Mojo HD is actually finally here (photo stolen from singletrackworld.com)
And I’m saving my favourite to last with Chub’s new geared rear hub. A bunch of my buddies are running the singlespeed versions of these on their DJ rigs and swear by them; shorter spokes = stronger wheels. Anyway thanks bikemag.com for the photo.
I’m sure there will be one or two more things… oh there is… this Swobo/Santa Cruz tandem fixie. I’m predicting that Chris and Bob may get some wild ideas from this and may try to attempt another Karapoti Tandem sub three!!!
