TRACK DAY TUESDAY – WRONG SKATEPARK

Posted by Lester Perry on Wednesday June 16 2010

The 'Main Arena'

Not so much  a trail as a place to ride has just opened up in central Hamilton. Wrong Skatepark is the brainchild of a group of young skateboarders, and fortunately they see the financial value of allowing bikes to shred the place too. All two-wheelers welcome with bike sessions 9pm-12am Saturdays, 6pm-9pm Mondays and as of this week, 6pm-9pm Wednesday.

The mini ramp with perfect transitions gets some solid sessioning from the likes of Paul Langlands and Jono Hopping. Eventually all the transitions will be linked with corners to form a sweet bowl!

Wrong is situated in Ward lane, in the old ‘Havoc’ building (it’s bright yellow, can’t miss it), up the stairs behind the door to the right of the main doors. Entry is $10 per session.

Mini ramp looking back to the main area.

Check out the ‘Wrong’ Facebook Page for more info / contact details.
