Benny Phillips wins first ever NZ Teva Slopestyle event

Posted by Caleb Smith on Thursday April 5 2012

The first New Zealand Teva Slopestyle is in the books and Aussie Benny Phillips took home the three grand prize money for first place! Conor Macfarlane took second, Elmo Cotter third, Lewis Jones fourth and Kelly McGarry rounded out the podium in fifth.

We have a full video edit coming soon and I’ll post up a few more shots tomorrow. In the mean time this is what you get.

Paul Langlands took the best trick with pretty much everything he did. It was insane!

Elmo threes the drop in one of his qualifying runs.

Lewis Jones has been on fire the last few days, stomping tricks like this bar spin off the step down with ease!
