In contrast to the typically wet and cold cyclocross conditions of the first round, the sunshine was greeted by the spectators at round 2 of the Hot CX series, which also doubled as a National Series race. This brought competitors from out of town (including Spoke‘s own Lester Perry) to do battle with the locals on a tough but well-received course at Karori Park.
Current New Zealand ‘cross champ Dan Warren took out the men’s main race while Kim Hamer-Hurst continued her run of great results in the women’s. Full results are here, and check out some great photos from Mel Hamer-Hurst here…
