The last time I was in Aussie the Australasian SRAM HQ was being run out of Rob Eva’s home office (it wasn’t your average home office mind you). Recently however they’ve stepped up their game and set up their new service centre, showroom, offices and SRAM Technical University under one big red and black roof. Seriously this place is the things dreams are made of. State of the art workshops, the flashest work bathroom you’ve ever seen, and a showroom full of SRAM bling.

SRAM’s Dealer Service Direct works in conjunction with its Aussie distributor. SRAM DSD looks after the servicing for the products once they are sold, and they also carry parts for every SRAM item including many of the colour matched parts found on high end bikes from the big companies these days. Need a new blue floating XX rotor to match your Giant Anthem? Yup, they have it…

Boxxer World Cup training facility? The Aussies think of everything to give them an advantage, they are so damn competitive.

SRAM, both here and in Aussie, provide neutral race support at most national events, fixing components and tuning drivetrains free of charge. This isn’t Europe though so there’s no giant truck, but there is a converted luxury caravan.

Upstairs is the showroom and will also be home to a kind of lecture room. It’s all part of SRAM’s Technical University where shop mechanics get schooled up on all the latest bits and pieces.
