Guess they couldn’t make it in a 29er. Even though they said a few years ago they’d never make a 29er, ever. I wonder if they’ll never make a 650 too?

LR- Enduro evo (180mm) has replaced it, in a way they have gone a full circle since the sx trail started as an enduro. Now if they are bringing it into NZ this year or not…you will have to talk to your friendly local dealer.

they’ve beefed up the rear travel on the standard enduro to 165mm which is comparable to the sx. headangle’s also similar at 66.5 with a 160mm fork

The SX trail has been over 165mm since 2006 (maybe even 2005?). The 2011 and 2012 SX trail are directly comparable to the Enduro Evo, even having a slightly steep HA of 65

think 09 was the tipping point? prior to that the head angle was adjustable and travel was less that 170mm

@facebook-621024822:disqus Travel for 2006 is listed as 6.6″(167.6mm) and listed as 170mm from 2007 to 2011. The head angle of 2006 was 66.5 in the low shuttle setting. In 2011 it jumped to 180mm of travel and a 65.5 head angle. I owned a 2006 SX trail and it was a fantastic bike.
