The Crankworx Whistler RedBull Joyride title is one of the most highly coveted results any freeride Mountain Bike athlete could ever dream of. Just earning a spot in the finals would be an accomplishment for a majority of the world’s elite competitors, but not for Semenuk.

The competition was fierce with riders like Brett Rheeder setting an early tone taking the lead on his first run down the hill. Knowing the stakes were high and risks would have to be made, Anthony Messere would spin, flip and boost his way down the course into third place using SRAM X0 drivetrain, RockShox Pike DJ, RockShox Monarch DebonAir and Avid XX brakes. – Photo by Adrian Marcoux
