Incoming: New bits from Enve and MRP

Kris from Wide Open popped by the office with some fresh goodies from their stable for us to check out. The kings of carbon, Enve have added some new bars and a cool stem. The bar we saw was the RSR, now wider at 760mm with a 23mm rise and 9º backsweep at only 234 grams. RRP is $279.

Kris told us that the new HDH bar is getting a lot of love from the downhillers, and comes with a 46mm rise and 810mm width.

The new Mountain Stem is a carbon beauty with an alloy faceplate and titanium hardware that just looks awesome.

Only 83 grams for the 40mm model, it also comes in 55, 70, qnd 85mm lengths and will set you back a cool $415... quality and coolness comes at a price, but Kris says there are a few of these have already found their way onto some of Rotorua's finests' bikes.

This is a winner. No need to take off your cranks to fit the 1X V2 guide to your ISCG-05 mounts thanks to the clever half-bracket mounting. Perfect for that bit of extra retention for 1x drivetrains, it also comes in D-Mount (FD), E-Mount/S3 (FD), Seat Tube (for MTB and CX) and BB mounting options.

See that grey/blue lining in the guide? That keeps the noise from the chain to a minimum and prevents wear on the guide at the same time. The new TR top guide is smaller than the previous model and looks a lot tidier. RRP for the 1X is $120.

The AMG V2 guide adds the bash guard and comes in all the standard mounting options for  26-32t and 32-38t chainring sizes.

It also gets the nylon skid treatment, and you can see how burly the bash plate is. The interface between the backplate and guide is now grooved and tracked for better security and ease of installation with just a 4mm Allen. RRP is $195.

The humble bottle cage gets the Enve carbon treatment too, and is one of the sexiest cages we've ever seen. If you're running no backpack and want your bike to look awesome, this won't hurt one bit. Only 19 grams for $110.
