Hot on the heels of Wellington City Council’s list of the top 10 trails in the city, comes this neat little video showcasing some of the excellent tracks tucked betwixt the hills and suburbs of our capital city. The vast majority of the featured trails were crafted by volunteers and are a fantastic representation of the enthusiasm, skill and organisation of Wellington’s trail building community.
Captured on camera by Spoke founder Caleb Smith and Ross MacKay, esteemed bicycle riders Rosara Joseph, Kieran Bennett and Craig Pattle ride the core track networks of Makara, Mt. Victoria, Miramar and Polhill in this video and, surely to the frustration of some locals, make trail features look remarkably easy.
