PERU IS AWESOME

The Dark Lord’s son recently headed down to Peru to race the Inca DH Enduro race. This other guy who obviously watches way too much Man vs Wild went as well and filmed this little clip. The Golden Boy had this to say: “Peru was crazy fucking awesome. I had a great time down there. Lots of shredding, lots of culture, and the race was great. I ended up getting 4th in the elite DH. Top American! I’m stoked about that. The course was gnarly. Especially the top; we started at 15,000 feet with 150 other riders and dropped in on this steep, glacial moraine field full of rocks and holes and shit. You could go over the bars at any second. I rode very conservatively and looked like a pansy at the start, but it paid off I guess. It wasn’t all fun and games however.
A few of us got the shits (including me). My girlfriend Katie got hit the worse with bloody diarrhea and a high fever. She was bedridden for a couple of days (including race day). I think we’ll all survive. I’m going back down there for sure, and I’d recommend it to anyone as a good place for some all mountain adventure (as long as you don’t mind a little dysentry!).
