Freeskier and adventurer Pete Oswald is on a biking/fundraising mission in Sri Lanka which started on Boxing Day. Before he and cohort Sophie Stevens set off they managed to raise over $4500 to help the Karaveddy Preschool on the East coast in the Batticaloa region of Sri Lanka. The Batticaloa region was very badly effected by the Tsunami and almost three decades of civil war and is now in recovery and development mode. The Preschool is in desperate need of a solid roof, currently it only has a single layered leaky tin which needs constant repair and is often damaged in strong winds.
