For a while, and quite near the end of the race, Kiwi riders sat in 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th places at Fort William World Cup DH. Greg Minnaar, Danny Hart, Gee Atherton and Aaron Gwin split the Kiwi party up, but it still left Brook MacDonald to to party. Third place for the Bulldog!!! Sixth for Cameron Cole, 7th for Blenkinsop and 8th for Justin Leov. A great result for New Zealand and it really is only a matter of time until racers from New Zealand swamp the podium.
ADDITION: I just spoke to Brook MacDonald and he’s understandably very happy with his result and says that it pushes him into a good mental state for the next round in Leogang in a week’s time.
