Trail Fund NZ is very pleased to announce that CamelBak® will be a sponsor for 2014. The sponsorship includes development of a custom version of the top quality CamelBak Podium® bottle. These Trail Fund NZ branded bottles incorporate Jet Valve™ which provides a self-sealing valve into a taste-free bottle with a high flow rate.

“We’re very excited to be joining the Trail Fund NZ team and believe in what they’re trying to achieve,” said CamelBak brand manager Sean Hanton.

“It’s great to be able to help support grassroots projects run by the passionate volunteers who are out there building the trails we all love to ride. Without their generous commitment and the funding to back it, we wouldn’t have the increasingly awesome network of trails New Zealand has to offer.”

Keen to give back to those who use their products most, CamelBak approached Trail Fund NZ with the bottle concept and have generously funded all the costs associated with manufacturing the bottles.

“That means 100% of the money raised from the sale of the new bottles will go directly towards supporting volunteer-led trail projects around New Zealand,” said Sean. “Trail Fund is a great organisation to be involved with and we believe it’s a worthwhile investment in the market we care about.”

This first project is expected to raise at least $10,000 in 2014.

“This partnership is a big boost for supporting volunteer-led trail building in New Zealand,” said Trail Fund NZ chairperson Ben Wilde. “We’re stoked to have CamelBak – which is pretty much a staple of mountain biking in New Zealand – on-board as part of the team.”
