Kovarik-Leading-Size-920

DTR Industries has just launched the School of Shred. World Cup racers Chris Kovarik and Claire Buchar will be coaching three National DH race camps, and highly decorated coach Kat Sweet will be running two Junior freeride camps.
First up are the Kovarik Racing camps. These camps will focus on coaching and racing the three South Island venues of the 2013 NZ National DH Cup.

With 20 years’ combined World Cup racing experience, Chris Kovarik and Claire Buchar have taken time out of the World Cup racing circuit to become professionally accredited and teach racers everything they know. From bike set-up to line choice to putting a race run together, riders will learn skills, tactics and approaches to tackle any race weekend.

Next up, is the Sweetlines Junior Freeride camps. These are based locally in Queenstown under the tutelage of long time coach Kat Sweet with 8 years’ experience coaching youth and women’s skills clinics in the U.S. This camp is aimed at 12–17-year-olds and will also run the all inclusive format.

Camps are scheduled to begin in January 2013.
