The beginning of the July is Super D madness time. You have the Downieville Classic running from the 9th to the 11th. In true American fashion they call it the all mountain "world champs". It's kind of appropriate but not at the same time. Anyway there's going to be a battle this year, Adam Craig should be back, Ross Schnell and the two WTB/Santa Cruz twins of Jason Moeshler and Mark Weir, coming of a win in Ashland. Meanwhile over in Europe the Mega Avalanche week is taking place and the start list looks like it's gonna be a fun event. Sam Blenkinsop, Cam Cole and Kashi Leuchs are all racing, as are a host of industry insiders, like World Cup photographer (and ex pro elite DH rider) Sven Martin, the Parkin brothers, SRAM engineer Jon Cancellier and SRAM marketing guy Tyler Morland (ex pro freerider). Throw in all the fast Euro's like Remy Absalon (Julien's brother) and Rene Wildhaber and it should be an exciting battle. We'll keep our eyes on the websizzle for you and bring you all the news as it comes to hand.
