I’ve kind of been dropping the Crankworx ball a bit, there’s just so much mountain biking happening at the moment it’s hard to keep up. Anyway it seems like the Crankworx Enduro was a little bit of a gong show, but at the same time it looked pretty fun, albeit with far too little time between stages and little rest. Jerome Clementz won over a stacked field and Kiwis Kurt Lancaster, Jamie Nicoll and Chris Johnston represented and placed in 14th, 12th and 6th respectively. In the women’s race, Anka missed a start and incured a time penalty that would put her out of the running but Rosara Joseph followed up her fine form from the Mega and Downieville and killed it for 2nd place, six places ahead of Anja McDonald in 8th.
