So my friend Katie is running this awesome event in the US (you’ll be able to read about it in the new next issue of Spoke). It’s called Clips of Faith and is essentially a DIY bicycling film festival presented by New Belgium Brewery (and supported by Easton and Santa Cruz among others). The concept is simple: make short, awesome films with cycling as the theme, then travel round the country with a portable outdoor screen and show them whilst drinking handmade beer. The whole thing is to raise money for Project Bicycle Trip, a not for profit organisation designed to teach kids in need an employable skill (that being a bike mechanic). You can read all about it over here on the Project Bike Trip website, and while you’re there you can also choose to donate $5 and go in the draw to win this fully tricked out Carbon Santa Cruz Blur TRc. I’m pretty sure they may ship it to New Zealand. Hell even if they didn’t it would be under $500 to ship and that would be one cheap bike considering its spec.

“Mountain bikes and World Cup racing was option one…and option one was the only option”
‘I’m pretty sure they may ship it to NZ”. Can you be any more certain?
The NZ Santa Cruz Distributor has confirmed that if a Kiwi won it could come with one of his shipments! so very certain now…
Does Ross know that Katie is your new best friend?
Someone sounds a little jealous?
You two need to get over yourselves. Everyone know’s I’m Caleb’s bestest bud.
All it took was a pair of Converse to win him over!
Caleb, is that why I’m not your pal, because I haven’t given you any free stuff? If so I can send a full Royal Racing kit your way. What do you say? How about doing an old man a favour?
A pair of Converse! We had to give him a bike before he’d show us any love.
