While we were sleeping some serious shit went down on the other side of the world with both the Megavalanche and the EWS4 in La Thuile finishing. Damien Oton, who’s been looking on fire this year finally bagged his first event win whilst Miss Untouchable Tracy Moseley won yet another round of the EWS series! Justin Leov improved on his day 1 performance with three top ten stage finishes to secure 7th in La Thuile as well as landing himself (narrowly) 3rd in the overall standings (not bad for someone who became a dad less than two weeks ago). Jamie Nicoll didn’t have the greatest day at the office finishing 22nd after the weekend’s racing.

Meanwhile over in the ladies’ camp Rosara Joseph finally shook her 6th place vibe but moved in the wrong direction and slipped back to 7th after the six intense stages, giving her a top 10 overall position in 9th overall, pretty sweet for someone who missed the first round (if she had raced she’d probably be in 7th place). Gabby Molloy and Anka Martin held onto their day one placings and finished 15th and 17th respectively.

Anyway we can expect Dirt’s day 2 video shortly as well as a few press releases, but for now these results will have to suffice! Scroll down for the overall standings.
