Mark Dickson the distributor of Race Face, Lezyne, and e*thirteen (among other things) stopped by the office yesterday with a big bag of goodies to show us from his stable of brands. First off was the new M Guidering from e*thirteen. Now I’ve been running this ring for a while, well the splined version of it, but the 104BCD version is here now and is available in sizes from 32t up. Mine has shown little wear and hasn’t dropped the chain once in almost four months.
Now I know there are a tonne of narrow/wide options out there at the moment but the four bolt version of the M Guidering offers a little something extra and that is that the teeth are offset and, depending on which side you have facing out, offers you either a 49 or 5omm BB offset.
Which is a pretty simple way of adjusting your chainline.
When an Easton employee purchased Race Face from the receivers a few years back everyone predicted that Race Face might be brought into the Easton fold and scaled down. Well nothing could be further from the truth with Race Face just constantly upping their game and dropping some amazing products. This bar though is perhaps the only nod to Easton, as Race Face will now offer the popular Atlas bar and stem in a 35mm diameter option.
Theres’s no fanfare though; nowhere on the bar or stem are the numbers 35mm. But damn that thing is sexy!
Race Face are also now offering this sweet complete Evolve single ring package, cranks, BB, narrow/wide chainring and crank spider protectors, all in the one box! Boom.
I’ve been going on and on about my e*thirteen TRSr cranks for a while now and I’d kind of forgotten that they even make a burly DH version, The LG1. It’s designed for a single ring and is bash ring compatible.
The LG1 features a bunch of e*thirteen propietary features like the APS preload adjuster (which is the best thing to happen to cranks in a while).

As well as their 100% contact p3 polygon interface, for maximum power transfer.
And the last thing out of Mark’s bag of goodies was this sweet pro-model Danny MacAskill Travel Drive. It’s designed to lay flat in your bag and even comes with a felt lined bag for protection.
The CNC-machined aluminium handle, piston, and base make this pump durable and lightweight and the ABS Flip-Thread Chuck works on both Presta and Schrader valves. The 1.5in gauge is compact and precise.
Danny’s signature is CNC-machined into the top of the handle and printed on the bag, proof of his approval.
Do any of these products tickle your fancy? Which ones?
That Atlas combo is really nice…But I am a sucker for contour lines..
