Ground Effect clothing undertook a sustainability audit last month for the Get Sustainable Challenge, run by the Sustainable Business Network. And what do you know, they received the regional Trail Blazer’s award for small and medium business. In their words: “The judges were impressed with Ground Effect’s quirky, zestful and energetic business model involving no middle-men. The judges also commented on their investments in energy reduction, product durability and the staff culture that has been created.” Needless to say they are pretty chuffed and are off to the finals in November.

  1. I can attest to the durability of their products. Damn things last so long! You drool over the latest products, but can’t justify buying them because the ones you bought 5 years ago are still going strong.

  2. Good to see these innivators receiving more recognition. I note Fraser takes pruduct durability seriously with that bike and even the (very) old school stem and bar combo. And those chrome mudguards will keep his shorts clean!
