With two kids and two adults and four bikes on the back of the poor little Baleno we headed off to the Jamis Day-Night Thriller in Taupo, although for us it would just be “Day Thriller” as anyone with kids can attest to, having to control four children under seven at an event like that isn’t exactly a breeze. Entered in the six hour mixed teams category we thought we would have a little fun and try to beat our middle-of-the-field placing at the 12hr Cateye Moonride. With three laps to go we were sitting in 5th and at prize giving discovered that we’d built on that and finished in 2nd place. We even got medals…
