Those purveyors of super fine cycle clothing over at Mission Workshop have today finally released the first look at their new dedicated Acre Supply technical MTB line of packs and clothing. Now this is gear that you aren’t going to find in the close-out bin at your local shop anytime soon; this is tailored MTB clothing at its best. The range is small, yet well thought out. There’s one short, two tops, a jacket and two bags. Acre say their stuff “balances the need to climb light and fast with exceptional durability and weather protection”. If that doesn’t sound like it’s a good fit for New Zealand then I don’t know what does. The fact that it’s designed in the Bay Area, which shares our shitty weather conditions, is just an added bonus. They ship worldwide and the stuff is available now; check below for a little taste.
The Meridian jacket provides exceptional storm (read New Zealand winter) protection in a lightweight and packable format. The highly articulated cycling fit combined with durable stretch fabrics allows maximum movement in a minimalist design. Fully seam-sealed and made from waterproof / breathable Schoeller c_Change fabric.
The Merino wool District top is simple yet super stylish top that naturally regulates body temperature in both hot and cold environments, resists odour, and stretches with your body.
The Hauser range of bags a designed to go anywhere in all conditions. The 10 Litre Hauser is the perfect size for the all-day ride. Complete weatherproof construction ensures your gear will always stay dry. Perforated back panel and shoulder straps ensure complete ventilation and moisture management. Compatible with most hydration reservoirs up to 3 litres including CamelBak, Hydrapak, Platypus, and Osprey/Nalgene.
