The folks at IXS contacted me a while ago looking for advice on a New Zealand distributor and asked if I was keen to try out some of their pads. I figured team riders Darren Berrecloth, Matt Hunter, Kurt Sorge and Rene Wildhaber among others wouldn’t ride something that didn’t work so I went looking on the IXS website and found the right pads for me. What I also found was a whole massive line of clothes, shorts, jerseys and jackets.
Fast forward a month or two and a box shows up from Germany; no pads, just a tonne of clothes. I’ve been wearing a few of the tops over the last month and have been pretty stoked with them from a fit standpoint. They all feature iPod/iPhone pockets and are not that unpleasant on the eye while still being decidedly Euro. There’s not too much point in going into more detail as you can’t buy the stuff here yet, but as you’ll see from the link below, the range is massive and there’s pretty much something for everyone.
