I waited in vain for the punch-line, such as the Chick getting catapulted down the hill. How disappointing they were actually serious.
I was the same, totally thought it was a joke. That said when i take my kids mountain biking i always through in two spare tubes to link together to tow them when they get tired or the gradient gets to steep.
