For years, mountain bike families with younger children have had limited options.
Most harnessed child seats for children under 2 years old were designed for city bikes, and many wouldn’t fit modern mountain bikes at all.
And if you could fit a seat to your mountain bike, it would severely hamper your ride with restricted turning, contact with your fork or frame, big ugly adaptors, and bulky designs that leave little room in the cockpit.
