Today was the first day of this first edition of the Andes Pacifico presented by Santa Cruz.
The 80 riders were transported to the Ski Resort La Parva, where riders registered and were located in their apartments which will provide cover from the cold Andean Night. After registration our media crew went for a ride to check the terrain where they found some dusty and rocky trails.
After dinner riders had the first briefing where race director Matias Del Solar presented the Montenbaik team that will be working on both this race and also the first round of the Enduro World Series in April 18-19 2014 in Nevados de Chillan, Chile.
Matias showed a general view of what the four days of this unique event will involve, centralising the view on the first official day which will be tomorrow.
The day one will have:
- 40 km total length
- 4 Special Stages
- 23 km of Special Stages
- 3670 metres of vertical downhill
