Meanwhile in France… That’s right in some poor planning of dates the 2014 Megavalanche sat on the same weekend as the La Thuile EWS round meaning that a number of heavy hitters were not in attendance. That said, a fricken massive crew of Kiwis decided the Mega was a better offer and for Meg Bichard who finished 2nd in the ladies and Reon Boe who finished third it most definitely was. Rain hit the course hard and for some that meant pushing their bikes through glue like churned up goop. As you can see from the below results Reon wasn’t alone in the top 100, with Vertigo Bike local Jon Stout in 39th, Joe Nation in 53rd, Kelly McGarry in 64th and Rupert Chapman in 65th.
Sram/RockShox – May 27th, 2022
Our new suspension started from a blank sheet of paper. We set everything aside and started with one question: how can we continue to elevate every ride? The result is a revolutionary system designed
to deliver unprecedented control, muscle, and performance. New chassis designed with industry-first damper technology, reinvented air springs, a host of new technologies to mute trail chatter and win the fight against friction. Suspension that has the confidence to meet the demands of riders today and empower them to take the sport somewhere new tomorrow.
