Narrow/wide chainrings are the new dropper posts, and Christchurch based Revolution Components have put their hat in the proverbial ring with their own homegrown versions. This 30 tooth 104 BCD model showed up yesterday and will be finding its way onto a test bike soon.
The chainring bolts thread directly into the ring to allow the use of 30t, which should give a low enough gear for most riders running a 10 speed cassette. They are also available in 32, 34, 36 and 38t versions for the big gear stompers.
Loving these rings. 3 weeks thrashing my bike in Canada recently and never dropped the chain off my Revolution Components 32 tooth ring!
