Unless you’ve been living under a very large rock for the past couple of years, you’ll have no doubt heard about the MTB/adventure park that is coming to Worsleys Spur in Christchurch. This place will change the face of mountain biking in New Zealand, with a dedicated 365 day a year mountain bike park serviced by a high speed chairlift capable of moving 1200 bikes (and people) per hour. With a REAL city nearby and all it offers (read: craft beer) as well as a true international airport, the Christchurch Adventure Park has the makings of becoming one of the biggest and most important MTB attractions in the Southern Hemisphere. Now that resource consent has been granted it’s time to get excited!
Worsleys Spur is just above the western border, I think it’s called Cracroft valley.
