Whilst shopping for Halloween candy at Canadian Tire yesterday I spotted some funny POS advertising for the new Pentax Q camera. This new, bonkers, spy style camera is absolutely tiny. In real life it really looks like a scale model of a real camera, or perhaps a key chain toy, but in the poster they have made it look like a giant compact.
The Pentax Q is the tiniest interchangeable lens camera on the market (including a fish eye option). Some reviewers might call it a bit of a novelty item, what with its shallow depth of field and small sensor, but after seeing and trying one out in the flesh I could see the benefits of having one in my biking backpack.
