SRAM release New Lyrik and Yari forks

SRAM have released a couple of new RockShox forks, bringing back the Lyrik, like a longer travel Pike with Boost option, plus the new Yari which brings a lot of the Lyrik’s features at a more affordable price point. Full details from SRAM are here…

RockShox LYRIK – FOR THOSE WANTING MORE.

Everything you love in Pike in a stiffer, more capable, longer travel option. We built the new Lyrik for the riders who know there will always be more to explore, more to challenge and more to conquer. If it’s out there, they’re going to ride it, and the new Lyrik will always be up to the task. It’s built on a stiffer yet lightweight 35mm chassis, equipped with the world-acclaimed Charger Damper featuring new Torque Cap and Boost compatibility, and is available in 160mm-180mm travel options for 27.5” and 150mm-160mm for 29”. Lyrik combines single crown weight and agility with dual crown strength and aggression, blurring the lines of capability that limit all other forks in its class. The new Lyrik is built to inspire confidence and give you that much more. So keep going – Lyrik is ready.

Yari is for riders who aren’t afraid to go for it. For the ones who don’t know where the limit is, but are prepared to find out. The climbs, jumps, views, and natural terrain these riders encounter might be new to them, but they want to experience it all. Built with the same confidence-inspiring strength and stiffness as Lyrik and featuring the new, refined Motion Control damper, Yari is available in shorter travel configurations (starting at 120mm), making it a perfect complement to any ride. ROCKSHOX OFFERS BOOST 110 COMPATIBLE OPTIONS OF ITS MOST POPULAR FORKS.

With revolutionary advancements in bicycle componentry, like SRAM’s XX1, X01 and X1 drivetrains, mountain bike designers have been given almost limitless freedom to focus solely on the performance of the bike. Each advancement demands that the entire package works flawlessly. Aggressive trail and enduro riders have been increasingly enjoying the benefits of larger wheels, but many still view 27.5″ and 29″ wheels as a possible weak link. Which is why SRAM has developed an open standard with Boost compatible components for SRAM drivetrain, hubs and RockShox forks.

27.5” Boost 110 option is available on Pike, Lyrik and Yari
29” Boost 110/27.5+ option is available on SID, Reba, Pike, Lyrik and Yari.
All 29” forks with Boost 110 compatibility also fit 27.5” Plus (27.5” x 3.0 tires)

Larger interface between dropout and hub end cap results in stiffer front end – increased steering precision, better bike handling, more confidence.
Lyrik and Yari are Torque Cap compatible in both 15×100 and Boost 110 (15×110) models
All RockShox 15x110mm forks are Torque Cap compatible (SID, Reba, Pike, Lyrik, Yari)
Torque Caps are compatible with the following SRAM wheels and hubs: Rise XX, Rise 60, Roam 30, Roam 40, Rail 40 and X0 hubs.
