From hard-charging edits to parodies and complete mockeries of all things biking, the Summer Sessions Through The Lens movie comp is back at the Queenstown Bike Festival. Designed to showcase the talents of short-term visitors and long-term locals alike, the Summer Sessions have become known as one of the hottest nights out during the Queenstown Bike Festival.
The Summer Sessions are back for 2015 and this time we’ve got the backing of industry heavyweights SRAM and RockShox headlining the act. With over $4,000 in prizes including a RockShox Pike RCT3 fork and a SRAM Guide RS brakeset, this is your chance to show us what you’ve got. Showcasing your take on mountain biking, we want to see your best packed into a 3-7 minute clip. The most memorable films are those that tell a story and as usual, you’ll need a mix of riding and B-roll footage, so make sure to keep that finger on the record button!
The Summer Sessions will be going down on Tuesday 17th March as part of the Queenstown Bike Festival so start working on those killer shots now. Tickets on sale Friday 13th March from Torpedo7 Queenstown & The Find. $10 (cash) or $15 on the door if there’s any left!
