If Tim Pierce was a rapper his name would be Perceptible, and he’d probably be in a Nubian group like The Pharcyde or The Roots. But he isn’t; he’s a photographer and he’s super good and he’s having a real deal multi-media exhibition in Auckland.

Here’s the official press release info:
Perceptible – The Works of Tim Pierce

Perceptible is a multi-media exhibition, displaying a wide range of works from New Zealand photographer and film maker Tim Pierce.

Originally from Wanaka, Tim has spent his life travelling New Zealand and abroad documenting action sports and their associated cultures.

From this stems Perceptible, a series of innovative and artistically rich images that capture New Zealand’s top snowboard, mountain bike, and BMX talent, whilst showcasing Aotearoa’s beauty through eerie dramatic moods, unique textures, shapes and pure images.

Resonant in visual magnitude, the pieces evoke strong perceptions and connotations of outdoor adventure and culture through the mind and senses.

Screenings of high definition video projects will also play throughout the two week exhibition, illustrating Tim’s diversity in the world of film.

Be sure you attend to celebrate New Zealand’s beauty and talented sporting culture as seen through the lens of our country’s leading action sport photographer.
