photoRound two of New Zealand’s longest running Super D series went down last night up on Makara Peak. Ricky threw a bit of a curve ball with a liaison stage from what everyone thought was the start. A few more heads showed up than the previous rounds, with Eden Cruise and Tim Wilding representing the XC crowd (although they were wearing baggies). Welly/Levin legend Hayden Barnie was in attendance and Nick the Pom from Christchurch showed up on a borrowed bike to race as well. But really the talk was about Cowboy being bridesmaid once again, this time though to 15-year-old Eden Cruise…
Next Wednesday’s race will be announced on the Underground Twitter Account early next week. We can tell you it will be Wellington City side and not in the Hutt Valley.
