You may remember Pete and Sophie’s Sri Lankan adventure through the updates we posted on site, and now they have shared the video from their successful fund-raising mission.
On the 26th of December 2013, Sophie Stevens and Pete Oswald began a 27 day mountain bike tour around Sri Lanka. The goal was to raise enough money to replace a roof on the Karaveddy Preschool in the Eastern Province, an area badly affected by Civil War and Tsunami.
Pete and Sophie rode 1274 kilometres, climb over 8100 metres and as of publishing have raised $5466 NZD.
