I don’t want people to think that we just care about all-mountain, freeride and DH, because the reality is, here at Spoke we love all the elements of mountain biking. There are supposed to be some XC weight weenies posting on this site but while they are building up the courage it’s up to me. So as well as DH and 4x, SA also held the  opening XC round of the World Cup too. Merida’s José Antonio Hermida Ramos took 1st followed 32 seconds later by Julien Absalon and SA local and Specialized rider Burry Stander took 3rd. Kashi Leuchs finished in 80th, down one lap.
