Wide Open Distributors is excited to announce the addition of the Italian-based Formula brake company to their line of quality mountain and road products. Formula has proven to be a market leader in well made, high performing disc brakes which is evidenced by the overwhelming number of independent World Cup race teams who choose their brakes to get them to the podium.
As well as great mountain bike brakes for all disciplines and price points, Formula have been the first company to show a dedicated fully hydraulic disc brake for road bikes, something that will revolutionise the road scene over the next couple of seasons. Wide Open had identified Formula as a brand that despite its good global profile had very little support for parts and servicing locally. Wide Open pride themselves on their strong workshop and servicing history so with Formula gaining a large presence in the OE market, they felt they were in a solid position to support all the current Formula brake owners out there.
Wide Open will be stocking everything from the awesome RO downhill brake to the lightweight R1 and great value RX brakes. We are expecting our first shipment to be in stores the first week of October!
