WTB-Wilderness Trail Bikes has partnered up with Cannondale Bikes (Cannondale Asia and Cannondale Mongolia) to send two riders, Daniel Carruthers (New Zealand) and Arnold Zhang (China) to compete and share stories and photographs about the Genco Mongolia Bike Challenge p/b Orbea which begins on Sept 1st, 2013.

Most riders are now registered and will be transferred to the stage one location on August 31st,  at the Chinggis Khan Statue Complex and will have one last opportunity for a warm-up ride before tackling 120kms with a brutal 2,900m total elevation gain; it is a perfect introduction to show the riders just what the race is all about – a tough challenge set within epic and natural beauty.  The track alternates between fast and smooth to rough surfaces. Riders will be staying in the traditional Mongolian Gers for most of the event.
