When I was in Moab a few weeks back I got the chance to head out and shoot with local shredder Alex Petitdemange and Yeti rider/filmer Joey Schusler. They had just returned from the Angel Fire, New Mexico round of the the Big Mountain Enduro tour and Joey was sticking around for a day or two to film a little clip with Alex. Well the clip just dropped and it’s pretty cool and shows a side of Moab which should definitely be hyped up more. Alex is currently tuning skis for the USA national ski team, so if you see a little Frenchman with flowing McGazza locks lurking around say hi and take him for a ride.
Alex is a Yeti Freak through and through. He spends the entire winter travelling with the US Ski team as a race technician which allows him to have most of the summer and autumn off from work. He uses this free time to ride and explore trails all over the world. Hailing from France, he now calls Moab, Utah home and knows more trails there than just about anyone. We caught up with “Frenchy” in Moab for a few days this summer to get the low down on his amazing lifestyle and to explore some of the more unknown trails in Moab and the La Sal mountains.
Cool, lucky fella! Wouldn’t that be La Salle mountains?
