Clay just dropped the Blenki trailer for 3 Minute Gaps and it’s pretty sick, but once you’ve watched it you’ll realise he’s trying to pull the wool. It’s not just Whanganui that features, there’s also a bit of Long Gully and a smattering of Rotorua. In other 3MG news we have just secured the rights to the New Zealand premieres of 3MG. We will be hosting one in Wellington, Auckland and hopefully quake central, AKA grid city. So keep the week after Leogang free ’cause that’s when we’ll be screening 3MG.Â
Sam Blenkinsop
Behind the scenes Whanganui
Sam Blenkinsop is firmly a part of the new blood generation of downhill racing and among a select group of riders that is influencing the sport in a big way. He rides with flat pedals, oozes style and is very fun to watch. Sam has proved that he can handle pressure as well. In fact, he is the only rider to dethrone Sam Hill at Schladming since 2005. In 2008, during the World Cup Finals, Blenkinsop qualified first and then a few hours later won the race, proving to all his doubters that not only can ride with style, he can race even better. Sam’s section was shot in December of 2010 in his hometown of Whanganui, New Zealand.- Clay Porter
Looking like another fantastic film. Really looking forward to it coming out 🙂
