I was looking for some old skate photos for Manual Magazine’s 15th birthday celebration issue and stumbled across this disc of scans from sometime in 2003. Matt Whitaker and I had driven up to Wanganui to rendezvous with his newest signing, a young Sam Blenkinsop. Also around for the day was then Wide Open co-owner John Kirkcaldie and team rider Glenn Hayden. I can’t remember if Wyn and Eddie were riding for Matt, but they feature all the same.
