Well I’ve kinda blown this one. Tomorrow is the Craigieburn Enduro, what could possibly be the best one-day enduro event in the world. Jerome Clementz—who rode pretty much every backcountry trail in New Zealand a few years back—said it was the best area to ride in the country, no questions. Nico Voullioz had pretty much the same view when I took him riding there last year. Anyone wanting to race it knew about it and is already there, but if you want to wing it there are on the day entries. However, as there’s ZERO cell reception at Castle Hill there’s no way of knowing if there will be any left. You could just go and watch? That last stage into Castle Hill Village is going to be retarded, it’s such a fast piece of track…

Stage 1: The luge
Stage 2: Dicksons Downhill
Stage 3: Drac Track to the stream
Stage 4: Hogs Bac, Picnic rock to the stream
Stage 5: That insanely fast Beech forest descent to Castle Hill from under Mt Cloudsly

All the info on the event can be found here.
