In a result no one would have predicted, Fabien Barel takes the win at the fifth round of the DH World Cup. Gee Atherton was on track to unseat him after an injured Minnaar and Peat (with a flat tyre) both failed, but a crash 30 seconds from the finish ended his hopes of winning his first World Cup round this year. Justin had a blistering run and finished an impressive 4th!
Blinky looked fast but something obviously happened and he finished in 11th. With Peaty’s flat, the overall leaderboard has changed a little and everything is a hell of a lot tighter now, with Minnaar taking the lead from his team mate. Good to see both Justin and Sam still in the top ten!
