When the rest of the country is packing their bikes away and pulling out their snow sliding devices and getting excited about May snowfalls that might or might not melt before opening day Nelson Mountain bike club is gearing up to race its five race Winter DH series. Starting with a double-header weekend on Kaka and Maitai face, followed by a trip to Blenheim to race at Pukaka, a return to nelson to race the venerable (and lengthy) Fringe DH and the race final at Justin Leov’s newly re-instated Jentree track.

The Following Gallery is from Kaka and Maitai Face rounds. With perfect conditions making the racing close and the stoke levels super high.
