Eurobike is on right now (and Interbike next week) so fancy new goodies are rolling out the door. Two of which have caught my attention are from the mighty Thomson. Thomson are renowned for their XC road stems and seatposts but this looks a lot like a solid entry into the freeride and all mountain market. If the weight and strength of their already established lines are anything to go by, this is going to be the stem to own for 2010.
And then for you DH boys and girls (this thing is already on the market) in the effort to get your shit even lower (flat bars anyone) the Canfield Brothers have developed this direct mount boxer stem that lowers you handlebar height by ANOTHER INCH. The good news is there is a Canfield importer in New Zealand. The bad news, I have no idea who stocks it.
