Two packages turned up today, two packages that would allow me to complete the Niner WFO9 build! First up were some beautiful 2035 gram 140mm Marzocchi Bomber 44 Mirco Ti forks (with custom 55 sticker set to trick the trainspotters) thanks to Matt at Wide Open, I loved the review set of 55s we had a while back and I can’t wait to get these bad boys out on the trail! The second package was from Jason Moeschler at WTB and contained a set of very early production 29″ Stryker XC Race wheels; these things just ooze radness. Check the pictures out below if you don’t believe me.

Crankworx Cairns 2023
The Crankworx World Tour made its second stop this weekend in Cairns, Australia. Cradled between the Great Barrier Reef and a World Heritage tropical rainforest, Cairns has become synonymous with steep terrain, great racing and rowdy crowds. Take a look at what the weekend had in store.
those look pretty nice! Was super impressed by my (lower model) 44’s on my old bike… those wheels looks good but you know my thoughts on 29″ers… at least you are tall like a sasquatch.

Thats my fear, not that the wheels cant handle it, but its so rooty and theres so many holes and i havent ridden the bloody thing off road yet. You gonna harden up and show up ROD? or are you afraid of being beaten by Leif on his full rigid DMR?
