Okay, so people have tried to pull off bike expos in the past but they normally fell flat, and in the case of the last one, well it never ever happened. But the On Your Bike expo couldn’t be further from those previous attempts if it tried. With seasoned event organisers and a few key cyclists behind the wheel, plus a tonne of New Zealand’s leading importers and distributors already attending, it’s going to be an awesome event for both everyday cyclists and industry insiders. It will be a chance to check out the latest bits and pieces from Avanti, Scott, Fox, Intense, Troy Lee, Yeti and a whole bunch more. Plus SPOKE is going to be there! We thought ‘why just have a stall when we could build an indoor all-weather pump track!’ Yup, Spoke and ABD will be bringing you an indoor pump track. Over the two days we’ll have spot prizes as well as a cash (well maybe cash) prize for the fastest lap time for both men and women. You don’t even have to bring a bike as we will have a few ABD Derelikts available to shred on.
Maybe if you’re lucky (or unlucky depending on how you view these things) there might even be a few Interbike style booth babes.
