Defending World Champ and SPOKE cohort “Rad” Ross Schnell sent us this sneak peak of his new weapon for the SSWC in Vegas next weekend. It’s a custom built Trek Top Fuel SS, with one-off paint job and a top tube pad harking back to Ross’ days as a BMX grom. And check out that SS Cobalt in the background. Ross hinted that the Trek engineers were working on carbon horizontal dropouts, so we’ll see if they came to fruition or not soon.
And with the fastest lap at last weekend’s 24 Hours of Moab, it looks like ‘Rad’ is in the sort of form to add to his tattoo collection (of one). He assured us that he is bringing his “drinking legs” too, and we already know how lethal they are!
A picture of the rear axle would be sweet. I wonder what type of tensioner he’s using
added now… looks like a yess tensioner. same as me!!!

gotta mount my yess this weekend and make sure it all works. The friday night conversion is going to be enough of a mission without finding I’ve left a part at home…
