Keeping on the footwear and Fed-Ex theme, another box showed up today, this time it contained a pair of stealthy new black Giro Code shoes (thanks Eric). Aside from looking pretty dam cool Giro’s new Code shoes a packed full of features, the most impressive of which is the Fit Kit. The Fit Kit is actually pretty simple; it takes into account that all our feet are a little different and in one shoe box hands over three different levels of arch support. They just velcro into place and in case you are retarded they are colour coded. Throw in an Easton EC90 unidirectional carbon sole for solid power transfer and welded scuff guards and you get one super solid yet lightweight trail shoe. They arrived today and it was pissing down so I haven’t had a chance to get them out on the bike just yet but will definitely be reporting back on their performance both in the web and in print. More pics after the jump.
