It has come to our attention that not everyone is aware that Spoke Magazine is actually a magazine. Yes, it’s true, Spoke is more than a website full of daily random bike and non-bike related news bites, and in actual fact is a rather top notch magazine covering all aspects of all-terrain bicycles. To demonstrate this to the non-believers and to reaffirm the faith of the converts, we would like to present to you a little taster of some of the stunning content contained within the print pages of Spoke Magazine issue 43.
Here is a state of the union address and rundown of the content from Brett Kennedy, Spoke‘s newly appointed editor.
“Issue 43 of Spoke will be hitting the shelves and your letterboxes next week. And as usual, it’s chock full of mountain bike goodness.
There are some great tales of exotic trails in Bolivia from Darcy, Mike and Nic. Caleb gets his junket on at the Teva Games in Colorado, Seb Kemp and Grant Robinson take a tour of the Hope factory in rural England, and the Atherton clan hunkers down in Queenstown for their pre-season training. Bikes aren’t just for bombing down mountains, so Paul Smith sneaks out for a spot of overnighting, while Laura Williamson looks at how others are put to use for hauling all sorts of stuff too.
The new Yeti SB66 is here and it’s hot, and we’ve got the first New Zealand test on it. The Foes FXR doesn’t miss out on the love and we put it through its paces as well. What else do you need to know? Aunty Flow and Uncle Dug will help you with your queries, no matter how strange. Wanna know how to ride better and look cool doing it? Check. The latest sweet products, books and DVDs? Got ya covered. Plus there’s more columnists, trail builders and rider profiles than you can shake a riser bar at. And you just know that the photography is the best out there. Yeah you do. Sound great? Can’t wait? September 15 is the date…”
Tune in over the next few days for tasters of the articles in issue 43.
